With clean lines and contemporary styling, the Magic Garden Butterfly Crib/Toddler bed has unique features that make it as practical as it is attractive. This unique 2 in 1 Crib has a colored butterfly shape window that lets baby look out and mommy look in. After baby outgrows the crib, it converts to a toddler bed, allowing toddlers to play safely in between the pink plexi glass windows. Wave shaped guard rail replaces crib rail and keeps toddlers from falling out of crib. Includes 2 sturdy locking casters, 2 non locking casters. Made in solid hardwood and birch veneers, with natural finish. Mattress support has three levels of adjustment. Crib is US Safety tested and approved. Coordinating crib bedding set sold separately.

When we received this crib the plastic/glass parts (cut out rocket) were unglued from the crib and very sharp, creating a very unsafe, life threatening situation for the baby. Even when we glued them back to the crib, the edges of the cut out plastic rocket are still very sharp. when you slide you fingers over the edges of the rocket, you can easily get cut. And we are adults. What can I say about the baby? This crib should not be manufactured, period. I don't know how room magic is still in business, creating such unsafe items. Just to clarify. The rocket parts are not in between the wood of the crib. They are glued on the wood inside the crib (inner side) where the baby sleeps. Horrible!!!!!

The beds are not going to last at the rate bed#1 is going. Just bought it in Feb 2011 and it starts out with the holes not matching up by 2 inches. So we had to make new holes to match. Then within 2 weeks wheel #1 pops off, in 3 weeks the bottoms give out, and then lastly week 4 #2 wheel pops off as well.Bed #2 started out with the holes not matching; the same way as bed#1. No other issues has happened to it as of today. (March 15, 2011)So I think this product is a hit-and-miss. I originally gave it a pretty good review since neither of the beds were falling apart. They are made from a good wood and there is no metal bed frame underneath. That alone is bonus points to me.

This product is lovely to see on line but you will not going to be able to buy it because it got discontinued. I purchased this product from Amazon a few days ago. The product arrived on time but with a lot of missing parts and the color was a little shaded (I was especting a white color and it was actually cream/off white). Amazon customer service promtly offered me refund and they were unable to re order the product because it was clearly discontinued. I believe that the manufacturer didn't take this product out of their websites in order to attract people to their other line of products. To make a long story short, if you are looking for a vintage crib I think that it is better to take some other route.The material was acceptable quallity although the heart was just glued from the inside the crib and it didn't look good. The parts that I received were picked up by UPS yesterday.
