We purchased this bed for my 2 1/2 year old. I was a little apprehensive since there were no reviews. But it looked and sounded sturdy from the description. The bed arrived a day early which was a pleasant surprise. The bed is so well built and very sturdy. There were not many pieces as much of the bed is already constructed, you basically had to just put all four sides, the front and back in place. The attention to detail was impressive. The ends of each screw matched the color of the piece. The paint is very vibrant and not dull or cheap at all. For $160.00 this is an excellent purchase for a toddler bed. Our crib mattress fit perfectly! My son was extremely thrilled as he is already a car fanatic. If your looking for something that isnt plastic or overly expensive, consider this bed. I am beyond impressed. Build time was about 30 min. Very easy to put together.

We bought this for our grandson as he turned 2. It took less than an hour to assemble using very clear graphical directions. When he saw that it was finished he let out an ooooh!, climbed in with book and blanket and grinned from ear to ear. All the pieces fit together well. The paint was detailed. Even the screwheads were painted the same color as the pieces they were holding together! The wood seems solid. Very easy for him to climb in and out of. "Spoiler" on back of the car can hold stuffed buddies or small lamp. Front "bumper" also makes a convenient shelf. Crib mattress fit snugly, but loose enough to make the bed easily. Certainly seems sturdier than the plastic toddler beds we looked at and priced very reasonably.

We were very excited when we ordered this bed since my son is very fond of cars.My son is 4years and seeing the manufacturer's recommended age of uses as 3-7 years.Whe we opened the bed we were disappointed to see that the length for the mattress recommended with the bed is 52 inches and may not be used for more than 1 year more by my son.We have to initiate the return and feeling really bad to see it go.I will recommend this to others keeping in mind the quality but be aware that your kid cannot use it after he turns 5 at most 6
