I actually own two of this bedding set as I have twin girls. I was a little disappointed with the first set as there is polyester fiberfil in the bumper and blanket and the bumper does not actually fit our standard-size Jenny Lind Crib - I suspect it was designed to fit the Argington Bam Crib well and doesn't really fit anything else. It is too short, leaving a 6-inch gap between bumper ends in one corner and the ties do not align well with the corners all the way around the crib, so there is also a gap between the outside of the bumper and the inside of the crib rails in one corner.But, we designed a whole room around this bedding and having twins means you don't have much time to spend making returns and shopping for alternatives. When it was time to move the girls into separate cribs the path of least resistance was to order a second set and accept the too-short bumper and hope that I might someday have the time to pull the polyester out of the blanket and fill it with cotton or wool instead...And then the second set arrived with all of the same problems of the first set, but with a hole in the fabric cover of the bumper and a fitted bassinet sheet instead of a fitted crib sheet. Too bad I had already laundered everything and started putting it on the crib before I noticed!So I did what any rational person would do and contacted the manufacturer hoping to simply get a replacement for the defective and missing pieces rather than return the whole thing. I tried calling Argington. Four times total. They don't ever actually answer their phone. So then I emailed them. Here is their response:"Dear Emily, Thank you for your purchase. It will be our pleasure to resolve your problem, but to proceed further for resolution you are requested to provide few details as given below1. Order #2. Ordered product3. Pictures of damaged piece / part.Have a nice day!Regards,Elliot,Argington CS Team[...], Argington Inc"So I responded with the order number, product name, and photos - all of which I will attempt to provide attached to this product on Amazon after writing this review. This took me a good 45 minutes to pull off, and of course, I had to time it so my babies were both 1)awake and 2)not fussing for me. If you have children (which you likely do or will soon if you are reading this) then you know that it was a tremendous fete of organization and brilliant parenting that allowed me to respond to that email at all.Here is how they responded to my very detailed message:"Dear Emily, Kindly go through below stated our replacement policy, and contact to Amazon (retailer, according to Argington’s policy), where you have made purchase and we will try to resolve the complaint, as received from Amazon on earliest.• In the case that damage exists in only a component of the item purchased, Argington reserves the right to only replace that part that is damaged or defected.• Only damaged component will be replaced, not the complete shipment• In case of damaged product received, customer should report it within 10 days of receiving the product, if it is reported after 10 days, then Argington reserve the right to determine if the defective part is due to customer misuse or due to poor manufacturing or shipping damages.• Please provide original purchase order # to retailer, and retailer has have to provide us all the supporting materials (physical description, photos of damage part, written complaint etc).• Request should be submitted to orders@argington.com, and we cannot accept any requests directly from your customers or phone requests.• All requests must come directly from the retailer and should be in writing presented in a standard purchase order form.Should you have any further query, feel free to contact.Have a nice day!Regards,Elliot,Argington CS Team[...], Argington Inc"What!?!?!?! First they tell me to send them loads of information, then they tell me that - based on information I provided the FIRST time I contacted them that they "cannot" help.This is hands-down the worst customer service experience I've had this year.Thankfully Diapers.com has been very responsive and helpful when I've talked with them, but I still had to dismantle my entire crib set up to return the set. And I still spent 3+ hours on the phone and emailing to try to resolve this.Take home message: DO NOT BUY FROM ARGINGTON, WHEN THEY MAKE MISTAKES THEY ARE UNRESPONSIVE AND UNHELPFUL and will demand that you do all the heavy lifting if you hope to resolve their error.

I was really excited about ordering this bedding. It was bright and modern and a good price for organic crib bedding. When I received the bedding colors were brighter in real life and did not end up matching the rest of the nursery. When I went to return it, the seller said that unfortunately they do not accept returns as part of their policy. Of course I was livid. What was I going to do with a set of $190 cribbing that didn't work for me? I had purchased this from amazon and have always had amazing experiences when wanting to return anything. So I called up Amazon and they were able to get the vendor to agree to a refund. But it took 2 months and the vendor charged me a $27 restocking fee. Would not recommend to anyone to order from this vendor.
