Product Description
The Bam Bam bassinet is the beginning building block in our Bam Bam complete crib set, as it easily converts to our Bam crib. It is compact in size and on casters for mobility from room to room. It can easily roll through a 24" door and go just about anywhere in the home. Each caster is lockable and swivels 360 degrees. The bassinet comes with a 1" latex mattress pad covered in soft cotton quilted cover and two soft organic white sheets with a zipper closure. Other accessories for the Bam Bam bassinet include an organic cotton bassinet bumper pad, an organic white waterproof mattress cover, a canopy support, and an organic canopy drape all accessories are sold separately. Easy to assemble. Conforms to and exceeds all regulations set forth by ASTM, CPSC, and Health Canada.

After receiving this as a gift, we were excited to use it on our small apartment. However, the bassinet mattress it comes with simply does not fit the bassinet. It slides from side to side and leaves a 1"+ gap both in the width and length.I believe this is a serious safety concern, as the number one recommendation for bassinet and crib mattress safety is a tight fit you can't fit more than 2 fingers between the crib/bassinet wall and the mattress.After a bit of searching, I found others had the same problem documented in reviews on other sites and also with videos on YouTube, etc.I contacted Argington about the issue to see what could be done, and after an initial quick form response asking for pictures and more details about the problem, which I sent back within the hour, I haven't heard from them in weeks.Since it was a gift, returning is not an option. I'm very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the big safety problem with this product. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to spend more time and money having a custom mattress cut, and having custom sheets made (which is what I'll have to do) on top of the already somewhat expensive initial purchase.Too bad, because it would have been nice otherwise.

I used the bassinet and crib for my first son and intended to also use it for my second son, however, lost a couple pieces. When I contact Argington through the website I didn't hear from anyone for weeks other than receiving a ticket number and the initial email. I then called the corporate office and selected a random extension to get a person on the phone.When I finally spoke to them they assured me they'd solve the problem. Eventually, I did get a CC authorization form, filled it out and never heard from them again about how to get my missing pieces.I am extremely disappointed especially because they are a boutique shop and I'd expect more from their brand.Nice product but don't count on them if something goes wrong.-Raquel

I really love this bassinet. It has big wheels that rolls well between and over different types of flooring. The bassinet is very sturdy, and handles a daddy who is rough on it. I did have to tighten the screws after few weeks of use, but it has seemed fine for the last few weeks. Our baby seems to love it and the mattress fits fine, I am not sure if it is the same mattress others have spoken about since is was a gift. It was given to us as a gift, and we have had no problems, so I can not speak to Argington customer service as I have not had to contact them. If I have any of the customer service issues I will amend my review.
